Rev. Dr. David Goodpasture and Rev. Brian Siegle welcome you to Saint Paul United Methodist Church. We strive to work with the church members to minister to the community and to each other. We share in the Virginia Annual Conference's vision that "we invision churches where all God's people are welcomed at table, nurtured and transformed to be Christ to others in the world." We acknowledge that the local church is the most significant arena through which we live out our common Biblical mandate to make disciple of Jesus Christ.

Pastor David was born just a few blocks from St. Paul UMC! The son of a United Methodist Pastor, he has been part of the church his entire life. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics at The University of Virginia in 1982, his Masters of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in 1986, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2000. Pastor David as been serving under appointment in the ministry since 1986, and at St. Paul since 2004.
He is married and has two daughters.

Pastor Brian is a life-long Methodist, the son of a United Methodist pastor. He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1995. After moving to Charleston, South Carolina for several years, he answered God's call to the ministry and received his Masters of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2006. He has been serving under appointment in the local chuch since 2002, and at St. Paul since 2006.
Pastor Brian is married and has two daughters.
